Lily Cho Design was founded by Lily Cho, a designer who spent years working across fashion houses and independent ateliers before establishing her own label. The studio was founded on the belief that hand-drawn design — not trend-chasing or mass production — is the only approach that produces clothing capable of lasting beyond the season it was made for.
What makes Lily Cho Design different from other fashion labels?
Three things distinguish us: every piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch (no CAD-first shortcuts), we work in small runs (every client or stockist receives direct attention, not a warehouse fulfilment), and we model garments on real bodies before committing to production (every collection goes through a full fitting cycle before a single finished piece leaves the studio).
Does Lily Cho Design offer custom or bespoke commissions?
Yes. Alongside our seasonal collections, we take a limited number of bespoke commissions each year — hand-drawn from a brief, fitted in-studio, and finished to order. Custom commissions begin with a consultation to understand your occasion, body, and aesthetic preferences. Lead time is typically six to ten weeks depending on complexity.
